Juice Facts

  • Always use organic produce and wash your fruits and vegetables.
  • Fruits and veggie drinks provide skin benefits
  • Cucumber contains silica, a trace mineral that helps provide strength to the connective tissues of the skin.
  • Cucumbers help with swelling of the eyes and water retention. They are high in vitamins A and C and folic acid.  They also will help keep your skin clear of acne, Good for reducing canker sores.
  • Good for healthy nails. Reducing junk foods and drinking healthy juice will be a step in the right direction, too.
  • Cucumbers are known to help the skin from becoming overly dry. Cucumbers contain silica, which helps improve the complexion.
  • The beta-carotene from the carrots will help heal the mucous membranes in your mouth.  Carrot juice supplies a high amount of pro-vitamin A, which the body converts to Vitamin A; vitamins B,C,D,E, and K, minerals, calcium, phosphorous, sodium, and trace minerals. This juice benefits intestinal walls, bones, teeth, skin, hair, nails and with regular use, cleanses the liver by helping to release stale bile and excess fats.
  • Beets are a good source of folic acid, vitamin C, and potassium. Red beets provide vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and fiber.
  • Pineapple is known to be great for the skin. This combination is fun, easy, and yummy!
  • Vary the variety of the apples to change the flavor of this sweet drink.
  • Apples are available year round, but are best September through November.  Select firm apples with good color.  Skins should be smooth and have no blemishes.  Store apples in a cool, dark place. They may also be stored in plastic bags in your refrigerator.
  • Strawberries are among the hardiest of berries, but don’t wash them until you’re ready to juice them.
  • Most varieties of sweet cherries are dark purple. Black bing, Lambert, and Royal Ann are popular cherry varieties. Maraschino cherries are made from Royal Ann cherries.
  • Peaches bruise very easily. Look for intensely fragrant fruit that is soft. Avoid peaches that have green on them.
  • You can lighten your hair naturally by washing it with a rinse made with 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 gallon warm water. Rinse your hair with the mixture 15 times, letting it sit for 15 minutes after the last application before rinsing with pure water.
Veggie Drink

2 cups of organic acai juice
1 whole organic banana
1 whole organic tomato
3 whole organic kale greens
3 whole organic collard greens
6 whole organic dandelion leaves
1 handful of baby organic spinach
2 whole organic celery stalks
2 whole organic carrots
1 whole organic pear
1 whole organic granny smith green apple or red gala apple
I handful of shredded organic cabbage
4 or 5 filtered ice cubes
 

 
Protein Drink

2 cups of organic almond milk
2 organic eggs
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
1 whole organic banana
1 handful of sprouted almond nuts
2 or 3 filtered ice cubes
 

 
INGREDIENTS: 2 CUPS
1 cup pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
1 mango, pitted
1 cucumber, peeled
½ lemon, rind intact

Juice pineapple first, then mango and cucumber. Cut lemon into thin slices and juice it last. Stir well before serving.
 

 
2 red apples, cored
2 carrots, peeled
4 large kale leaves
1 fist spinach


Juice apple, carrots, kale, and spinach. Stir.
 

 
INGREDIENTS: 1¼ CUPS

1 Granny Smith apple, cored
2 celery stalks


Juice apples and celery. Stir well.
 

 
INGREDIENTS: 1¼ CUPS

½ large cucumber, peeled
1 celery stalk, leaves intact
2 sprigs fresh baby dill
Juice cucumber and then celery. Stir well. Add fresh sprigs of dill to the top of the drink for garnish.
 

 
INGREDIENTS: 1 CUP
4 carrots, peeled
¼″ slice ginger root
1 beet, rinsed
Juice carrots, ginger, and beet. Stir.
 

 
INGREDIENTS: 1½ CUPS

1 cup pineapple, peeled
7 large strawberries, hull intact
½ papaya, seeds removed

Juice pineapple, strawberries, and papaya.

2 red gala apples, cored
1½ cups strawberries, hull intact
¼ lime, rind intact

Cut apples into thin slices. Juice apples first and then strawberries. Cut lime into thin slices and juice. Stir well.

Juice cucumber, cherries, and celery. Stir.

7 large strawberries, hulls intact

Juice peach and then strawberries. Stir.
